Economic development efforts in Upper Arlington are working! Since their inception in 1999, the City’s economic development incentives and programs have cumulatively guaranteed approximately $16.5 million net proceeds to the City. In 2007 alone, $1.4 million of our income tax revenue stream was generated as a result of these agreements. Return on investment projections through 2016 for economic development is 5.56:1, a clear indicator these programs are putting our money to work for our community’s future.
